Using this site
By browsing this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site. We may update them from time to time; the version on this page is the one that applies.
This site is information, not a contract
Everything on these pages — descriptions of fence types, materials, heights, processes and options — is general information to help you work out what you need. It is not an offer, a quotation, or a promise about what any particular job will involve or cost.
The only document that governs work at your property is the written estimate or contract we give you for that job. Where anything on this website differs from your written estimate, the written estimate wins.
Estimates
Estimates are free and carry no obligation on either side. An estimate is based on what we can see and measure at the time; conditions that only become apparent once work starts — buried concrete, failed posts along the rest of a run, utilities in an unexpected place — may change the scope, and we will talk to you before anything changes.
Licensing and code
AR Fence holds CSLB License #1120954. You can and should confirm its current status yourself at the Contractors State License Board.
References on this site to building code, pool-barrier requirements, permits or homeowners association rules are general descriptions, not legal advice. Requirements change and vary by jurisdiction and by association. Confirm what applies to your property before relying on anything here.
Photographs and content
The project photographs on this site are of work performed by AR Fence and are our property. The text, layout and design of the site are also ours. Please do not reproduce them elsewhere without permission.
Photo captions describe only what is visible in the frame. We do not attach a customer name, a street address or a town to a photograph unless we can confirm it.
Links to other websites
This site links to the California Contractors State License Board so you can verify our license. We do not control that site and are not responsible for its content.
No warranty on the website itself
We take care to keep this site accurate and available, but we provide it as-is. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and to the fullest extent the law allows we are not liable for loss arising from your use of the website. Nothing here limits our responsibility for the fencing work we actually perform, which is governed by your written estimate and by California law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
