Our story
Built on the work, not on the years
AR Fence is a Fresno-based fence and gate contractor led by its owner, Alejandro. The company started in 2024, which makes it newer than most of the names you will find in a search for fence contractors in Fresno — and we would rather put that in the first paragraph than bury it. What we will not do is claim decades we have not worked.
What we can point at is the work and the people who paid for it. In a short time the portfolio has covered a genuinely broad range: tan and brown privacy-slat chain-link running along property lines and around backyards, cedar and redwood board fence and custom gates, and long runs of black steel spear-top security fence along orchard perimeters. Alongside the new installs is a steady stream of repair work — gates re-hung, posts reset, fence lines put back straight.
The reviews customers have left describe the same three things over and over: Alejandro answers his own phone, he comes out quickly, and the price is fair for the quality of the work. For a young company, that reputation does more than tenure ever would — and it is the standard we are trying to keep as the business grows.

What areas do you serve?
We are based in Fresno and work throughout Fresno, Clovis and the surrounding San Joaquin Valley towns — Clovis, Madera, Sanger, Selma, Kingsburg, Reedley, Kerman, Fowler and Parlier among them. We also travel south to Bakersfield and Kern County for larger jobs. If your town is not on the list, call and ask; the answer is usually yes.
Are you licensed?
Yes. AR Fence holds California contractor license CSLB #1120954. You can look the number up yourself on the Contractors State License Board website — we would rather you checked than took our word for it.
What kinds of fences do you build?
Chain-link, including privacy-slat chain-link in tan, brown, black, green, gray and white; wood and cedar or redwood privacy fence; and wrought iron and steel security fencing. We also build gates, automate them, repair existing fences, and stain wood fence.
Do you build gates — including motorized ones?
Yes. Walk gates, double swing drive gates, sliding and cantilever gates, and full automation with swing or slide operators, keypads, remotes, safety sensors and solar or hardwired power.
Do you do repairs, or only new fences?
Both. Repair is a real part of what we do — leaning posts, wind-damaged panels, sagging gates, slack chain-link and broken hardware, including on fences we did not install.
Do you offer free estimates?
Yes. Estimates are free and there is no obligation. We come out, measure, talk through the options and give you a written price.
